The easy recipe for apple pie with cream cheese and crunchy crumble is very tasty, kids will love it, but most importantly, it is without a mixer! Try it!

Ingredient for apple pie with cream cheese and crispy crumble

For the tart

  • 1 packet of tart or kourou dough sheet
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 kg water

For the filling with cream cheese

  • 300 g cream cheese
  • 40 g sugar
  • 1 egg

For apple filling

  • 4 green apples
  • 1 kg lemon juice
  • 100 g brown sugar
  • 110 g white granulated sugar
  • 3  corn flour (35 gr)
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp nutmeg
  • 300 ml of water
  • 1 pinch of salt

For the crunchy crumble

  • 35 g flour goch
  • 22 g oats
  • 55 g brown sugar
  • 1/2 kg of cinnamon
  • 1/4 kg nutmeg
  • 2 tbsp melted butter

Alternative proposal for the crumble

  • 200 g flour
  • 100 g powdered sugar
  • 150 g frozen butter
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon

Execution for apple pie with cream cheese and crispy crumble

For the tart

  1. In a 28 cm tart dish, spread butter and put the dough.
  2. Put oil paste and a weight on top (eg beans) and bake for 20 minutes at 170.
  3. Remove from the oven, remove the beans and spread the yolk diluted with water on the tart.
  4. Bake for 5 minutes at 180 degrees.
  5. We let it cool down.

For the filling with cream cheese

  1. Stir the cream cheese (at room temperature) and add the egg and sugar and stir.

For apple filling

  1. Sprinkle the lemon juice over the apples and pour them into a bowl.
  2. Set the apples aside.
  3. Put the sugar, corn flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and water in a saucepan.
  4. Stir with a whisk until the sugar has melted.
  5. Boil for 1-2 minutes on medium heat.
  6. Add the diced apples to the pot, stirring constantly for about 10 minutes (be careful not to stick)
  7. Transfer to a bowl and leave to cool in the fridge.

For the composition of the apple pie

  1. Spread the mixture with cream cheese on the cold dough.
  2. Then spread the apple filling on top and finally the crumble.
  3. Bake at 175 degrees for 40 minutes.
  4. Leave to cool well and serve.
