The easy recipe for apple pie with cream cheese and crunchy crumble is very tasty, kids will love it, but most importantly, it is without a mixer! Try it!
Ingredient for apple pie with cream cheese and crispy crumble
For the tart
- 1 packet of tart or kourou dough sheet
- 1 egg yolk
- 1 kg water
For the filling with cream cheese
- 300 g cream cheese
- 40 g sugar
- 1 egg
For apple filling
- 4 green apples
- 1 kg lemon juice
- 100 g brown sugar
- 110 g white granulated sugar
- 3 corn flour (35 gr)
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp nutmeg
- 300 ml of water
- 1 pinch of salt
For the crunchy crumble
- 35 g flour goch
- 22 g oats
- 55 g brown sugar
- 1/2 kg of cinnamon
- 1/4 kg nutmeg
- 2 tbsp melted butter
Alternative proposal for the crumble
- 200 g flour
- 100 g powdered sugar
- 150 g frozen butter
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Execution for apple pie with cream cheese and crispy crumble
For the tart
- In a 28 cm tart dish, spread butter and put the dough.
- Put oil paste and a weight on top (eg beans) and bake for 20 minutes at 170.
- Remove from the oven, remove the beans and spread the yolk diluted with water on the tart.
- Bake for 5 minutes at 180 degrees.
- We let it cool down.
For the filling with cream cheese
- Stir the cream cheese (at room temperature) and add the egg and sugar and stir.
For apple filling
- Sprinkle the lemon juice over the apples and pour them into a bowl.
- Set the apples aside.
- Put the sugar, corn flour, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt and water in a saucepan.
- Stir with a whisk until the sugar has melted.
- Boil for 1-2 minutes on medium heat.
- Add the diced apples to the pot, stirring constantly for about 10 minutes (be careful not to stick)
- Transfer to a bowl and leave to cool in the fridge.
For the composition of the apple pie
- Spread the mixture with cream cheese on the cold dough.
- Then spread the apple filling on top and finally the crumble.
- Bake at 175 degrees for 40 minutes.
- Leave to cool well and serve.
