Engraved in the memory as the sweets offered by moms and grandmothers at home, they continue to have a place on today’s table, especially during the summer months. Here I suggest you my own recipe for grape spoon sweet with the addition of ginger that will give an incredible aroma to your dessert!
1kg grapes, without seeds
500-700gr. sugar (depending on how sour the grapes are)
1 sprig of ginger
Lemon juice of 1/2 lemon
- Wash the grapes very well and let them drain. If you want, keep a few pieces (10-15) to put them after half an hour of boiling, so that they come out whole and not mashed.
- Put the grapes in the pot, turn on the heat and leave for 5 minutes on low heat to begin to heat and drain.
- Add the sugar, almonds, water, ginger and lemon and simmer for 1 hour. Leave to cool and put in sterile jars.
