Light turkey burgers with groats salad

Delicious turkey burger, fluffy and healthy! Suitable for those who follow a healthier lifestyle!


  • 1 kg of minced turkey
  • 1 large white onion
  • 3 colorful peppers
  • 1 tbsp dill
  • 1 tbsp parsley
  • 1 tbsp spring onion (the green part)
  • 1 tbsp mint
  • egg white (from 1 egg)
  • 2 tbsp. lemon juice
  • 5 slices of toast
  • 3 tbsp. low fat grated cheese
  • salt and peppe

For the groats salad

  • 200 g groats
  • 1 bunch of parsley
  • 1 bunch of mint
  • 1 onion
  • 20 cherry tomatoes
  • 3 colorful peppers
  • 5 spring onions
  • 2 cucumbers
  • olive oil
  • lemon



  1. Chop the vegetables and the herbs.
  2. Sauté the onion and peppers with 3 tablespoons of olive oil, until well browned, and allow them to cool.
  3. Grate the slices of toast in the grater.
  4. Put the minced turkey in a bowl, add all the ingredients and knead.
  5. Put the bowl in the refrigerator for 3 hours.
  6. Roll the burgers and bake in a grill or in the oven at 200 degrees for 20 minutes

For the groats salad

  1. Put the groats in a bowl, cover with boiling water and leave until it is absorbed.
  2. Chop all the vegetables, pour them into the bowl and mix.
  3. Put the bowl in the refrigerator for 2 hours.
