Poached eggs are ideal for breakfast or snacks! Combining with vegetables or salad you can create a balanced combination for a light main meal!
- 2 eggs
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- Break the eggs into a small bowl and take care not to break the yolks. Add 1 tbsp of vinegar in the bowl an leave the eggs in for about 1 minute before you cook them. This trick help the eggs to stay separated. In a small saucepan, add water (up to the middle) and 1 tablespoon of vinegar and let it boil.
- When ready, stir the water with the help of a wire to create a circular vortex. Remove from fire and carefully pour into the first egg, without breaking the yolk. Do the same for the second egg. Close the lid and cook for 2- 2:30 minutes, depending on the size of the eggs.
- Remove the eggs with a perforated spoon and consume preferably while still warm.
