An easy and delicious meal with a very simple run. The “classic” oven chicken …in an alternative way! Ideal for Sunday’s family table. Good appetite!
Ingredient
- 1 chicken whole
- 1 kilogram of potatoes
- 2 peppers
- 3 zucchini
- 2 eggplants
- 3 carrots
- 10 whole mushrooms
- 2 tomatoes
- 2 onions
- 1 box of cider or beer
- rosemary
- thyme
- 1 lemon
For the marinade:
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 tsp pepper
- 1 tbsp paprika
- 1 tbsp of smoked paprika
- 1 tsp cumin
- 1 chicken cube
- 2 tsp of brown sugar
- olive oil
Execution
- We start making the marinade. Put all the ingredients in a mortar or in a bowl and stir well. We chicken the chicken a bit and put the spices all over the chicken.
- Cut the vegetables as much as we do the “briam” and put them in a pan, salt, pepper, add olive oil, rosemary, thyme and mix well to marinate. If we want we can sauté them and before they get a little color from the outside in a frying pan.
- Open the cider or beer box and pour half in the vegetable baking pan. Put the box in the center of the pan and place the chicken “sitting” over and around the vegetables.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 1½ hours. Open the oven and, with a knife, make a hole in the thigh. If it turns out transparent liquid is ready, otherwise we cook for another 25 minutes.
