Spiral cheese pie stuffed with feta and manouri

Perfect recipe for spiral pie stuffed with three types of cheese that you can have with you as snack in your office or to accompany your breakfast.


For the dough:

  • 500gr. flour for all uses
  • 200 ml of water
  • 50 ml white vinegar
  • 20 ml olive oil
  • 10gr. salt
  • Flour for sprinkling

For the stuffing:

  • 200gr. manouri cheese
  • 200gr. feta cheese
  • 200gr. anthotiro cheese
  • 1 egg
  • Freshly ground pepper


For the dough:

  1. In a bowl, sift the flour with the salt.
  2. Add the olive oil and rub with your fingers to water the flour.
  3. Add the vinegar and water, while kneading.
  4. The dough should not stick to the hands. We put some flour on our counter and knead a little with our palm pushing outwards and gathering inwards.
  5. Divide our dough into 8 and create round balls. Put flour in a pan, place the balls and cover with a film and a towel on top.
  6. Let our dough rest for 45 minutes to an hour.

For the stuffing:

  1. Put the cheeses in a bowl and break them by hand. Add the remaining ingredients and mix.

For wrapping:

  1. On a clean surface, sprinkle with flour and with the help of the rolling pin, open each dough separately (thin sheet and as much as possible rectangular). Sprinkle with flour each time to help us open the dough.
  2. With a brush, spread our dough with olive oil everywhere, spread in the straight parallel 3 tbsp of the filling, cover it by wrapping the roll inwards.
  3. Then wrap in a roll, closing the filling well inside, transfer to a well-oiled pan, starting by making a snail from the center of the pan. We continue with the rest.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes until it gets a nice golden-brown color.
