Engraved in the memory as the sweets offered by moms and grandmothers at home, they continue to have a place on today’s table, especially during the summer months. Here I suggest my own recipe for strawberry spoon sweet that you can make with just a few ingredients!
- 1 kg ripe strawberries
- 700gr. sugar
- ½ cup of brandy
- Juice from a lemon
- Carefully wash the strawberries and remove the stalks. Put them in a large saucepan, together with the sugar, in layers and at the end pour the brandy over them. Cover the pot with its lid, put them in the fridge and let them drain for 10-12 hours.
- The next day, put the pot on the fire and as soon as they boil, boil for 5 ‘and skim until they foam. Remove from the heat and allow the dessert to cool and stand for at least 5 to 6 hours.
- Then strain the strawberries, boil the syrup alone in the pot for 5 ‘and put the strawberries back in with the lemon juice. Boil for about 4-5 minutes from the time it boils.
