Summer without ice cream is not possible! For a low calories ice cream, we can combine the taste of fruit with the coolness of ice cream, creating our favorite sorbets! And for today I suggest you the strawberry sorbet which is everyone’s favorite flavor!
- 1 kg of fresh strawberries
- ½ cup of sugar
- ¼ cup of water
- Juice of 1 lemon
- 2 vanillas
- Wash the strawberries, clean them and let them drain. Cut them into small pieces and sprinkle with the lemon juice you squeezed. Leave them for 10 minutes drain off.
- Pour 200 ml of water, sugar and vanilla into a saucepan. Boil the syrup to set while stirring constantly. Leave it to cool. Mash the strawberries in a blender and add the syrup.
- Pour the mixture into a bowl and leave it for about 3 hours in the freezer. Mix well once more and put it back in the freezer for another 3 hours.
