Summer without ice cream is not possible! For a low calories ice cream, we can combine the taste of fruit with the coolness of ice cream, creating our favorite sorbets! And for today I suggest you the strawberry sorbet which is everyone’s favorite flavor!

Ingredient

  • 1 kg of fresh strawberries
  • ½ cup of sugar
  • ¼ cup of water
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 2 vanillas

Execution

  1. Wash the strawberries, clean them and let them drain. Cut them into small pieces and sprinkle with the lemon juice you squeezed. Leave them for 10 minutes drain off.
  2. Pour 200 ml of water, sugar and vanilla into a saucepan. Boil the syrup to set while stirring constantly. Leave it to cool. Mash the strawberries in a blender and add the syrup.
  3. Pour the mixture into a bowl and leave it for about 3 hours in the freezer. Mix well once more and put it back in the freezer for another 3 hours.
