  • 650 g of butter fresh
  • 525 g of sugar
  • 2 oranges zest
  • 2 doses of vanilla
  • 2 g of powdered nutmeg
  • 1 g of powdered mastic
  • 10 g of mahlepi
  • 350 g eggs
  • 135 g of milk
  • 50 g of cognac
  • 900 g of sieved flour
  • 30 g of baking powder
  • 150 g of chopped nut


  1. Place the butter, sugar, orange zest, vanilla, nutmeg, mastic, and mahlepi into the blender bin with the wire and work it first for one minute at the first gear and gradually raise to the last speed and hit mix for 10 minutes until it dries.
  2. Mix the eggs with cognac in a bass and put them in the mixer to homogenize. Remove the wire from the mixer bin and add the flour with the walnuts and baking powder and mix with a confectioner spatula until all the ingredients are incorporated.
