Ingredient for Banana cake with chocolate icing
- 5 very ripe bananas
- 360 g brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 120 g of sunflower oil
- 1 tbsp vanilla extract
- 340 g of self-raising flour
- 1 tbsp baking soda
- Or a teaspoon of salt
- 200 g couverture coarsely chopped or chocolate tears
For the chocolate icing
- 300 g cream 35% fat
- 400 g chopped couverture 70%
- 1 tbsp honey
- 30 g butter
Execution
- Preheat the oven to 180 degrees in the air.
- Mash the bananas with the sugar with a hand whisk or with a fork and stir until soft.
- Add the eggs, sunflower oil and vanilla and mix.
- Then add the dry ingredients (flour, soda, salt) and mix until well combined.
- Finally add the couverture.
- Put butter and flour in a cake pan and place the mixture.
- Our form should be round or elongated 10×30.
- Bake for 40-50 minutes.

For the chocolate icing
- Put the cream in a saucepan to heat. Finely chop the chocolate and put it in a bowl with the butter and honey.
- When the cream is warm enough, pour it into the bowl and cover with cling film for 2 minutes.

- Leave for 3 minutes and then pour the icing on the cake.
- It would be good to have the cake placed on a grill so that the unnecessary chocolate runs into a pan.
