A classic brunch choice in an easy homemade version!
Ingredient
Hollandaise sause:
- 1 egg (yolk only)
- 1 tbsp mustard
- juice of 1/2 lemon
- 100gr. of butter
Serving:
- 1 slice of bread
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 1 lettuce leaf
- 1 slice of smoked turkey
- 1 poached egg
- 2 tbsp of hollandaise sauce
- salt, pepper
Execution
- In a bowl we pour the egg yolk, mustard and lemon juice. In a small pot we melt the butter (we want it to be just warm, not hot). Mix the ingredients into the bowl and slowly add the butter, stirring continuously with a wire.
- Spread mustard on th the bread slice and place on top a lettuce leaf, a slice of smoked turkey (or other cold meat of our choice, even smoked salmon) and a poached egg. Add 2 tbsp of hollandaise sauce. Add salt and pepper and enjoy!
